Onesimo M. Martinez II is an American psychologist-in-training. He was born on February 16, 1987 in Eagle Pass, TX, but is a life-long resident of Asherton, TX. His parents are retired teachers, Onesimo S. Martinez and Maria Helena M. Martinez. Onesimo has one older sibling, Maria Gabriela.

Onesimo received his high school diploma from Carrizo Springs High Shool in Carrizo Springs, TX. He was very involved with extracurricular activities, participating in: Student Council (serving as President and Treasurer), Spanish Club (serving as Vice-President and Reporter), JROTC (serving as the Battalion Commander), UIL (social studies, ready writing, literary criticism & One Act Play), and served as a class officer for three years (freshmen through junior years). Onesimo graduated in the top 10%, with honors, successfully completed the Distinguished plan, and was inducted into the school's National Honor Society (NHS).

Onesimo graduated Summa Cum Laude, with his Associate director of Arts degree in general studies from Southwest Texas Junior College (SWTJC) in Uvalde, TX, in the Fall of 2006. During his stay at the junior college, Onesimo was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa (ΦΘΚ), serving as President and Vice-President of Service. It is also worth noting that Onesimo was named to the National Dean's List during all his active semesters there.

Onesimo graduated Summa Cum Laude, with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Sul Ross State University-Rio Grande College (SRSU-RGC) in Uvalde, TX, in the Summer of 2008. His major was in psychology, with a minor in criminal justice. He was inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society (ΑΧ) and was named to the 2007 All-Texas Academic Team. Onesimo also served as the Vice-President at Large for the university's Psychology Club and was named Man of the Year 2008 at this university.

Onesimo graduated, with his Master of Science degree from Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo, TX, in the Summer of 2010. His major was in psychology, with a concentration in police psychology, and a minor in criminal justice.

Onesimo is currently attending the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership.
