I am wikipedia user marzipan_mad. My first Wikipedia edit as a registered user was on 17 January2009. For now I am concentrating on editing articles concerning local history, politics, and culture. I am a graduate ofEdinburgh University where I studied English Language and History. I am male and was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on (1987-06-18) 18 June 1987 (age 37). For those interested I am 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) tall and weigh 63 kg (9 st 13 lb).
On 21st May 2009 I decided to launch the Edinburgh Rebirth page on wikipedia. The aim was to bring people together who are interested in Edinburgh as an urban space. However this was apparently a case of self-promotion, so the page was deleted from wikipedia! Ouch! I have learnt my lesson and will have to launch this scheme somewhere else.
My native language is English. I also speak the Scots language. I am more confident submitting articles in English, as the Scots language on Wikipedia is dominated by someone from a different part of the country who always edits whatever I contribute!
