I have an abiding interest in radio and TV humour, particularly several of the "sitcoms" listed on Wikipedia. My interest started back in the fifties as I worked at my homework wtih the Goon show for company.This was followed by Hancock, Navy lark, Beyond Our ken etc. After marriage the TV played a greater part than the radio,so Last of the Summer Wine 1st of the Summer wine, Porridge,Open all Hours have stoked my interest for many years my son has picked up my interest and listens to BBC7 frequently. I find a good belly laugh invaluable this day and age, and the absurdities portrayed by many of these programmes, put a lot of problems into the right perspective. I shall be pleased to hear from anyone, trivia always welcome.
