Kauna Mufeti is a Namibian academic. She is the Dean of the School of Computing at the University of Namibia.

She was born in Oshigambo in northern Namibia. Completed her Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science and Physics at the University of Namibia, her Master of Science in Computer Science and later, a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems, at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa.

After completing her studies, She returned to the University of Namibia, where she later became a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of Computer Science. During an institutional restructuring in 2015 she became the Associate Dean of the new School of Computing. Her current area of research is the use of Virtual solutions for capacity building in developing countries.
