A short biography: I was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. I grew up in University City, attending OLOL and Saint Louis University High School. After high school, I lived in New Orleans for a year then returned to Saint Louis to finish university. From Saint Louis University I received a degree in Economics, Russian, and Eastern European Studies. In 2008, I graduated with a two year MA degree in European, Russian and Eurasian Political Economy from the University of Toronto. I have lived in Russia, Slovenia, and Canada. Currently, I attend University of Toronto and am pursuing a PhD in Political Science.

My interests are in emergent order and political economy. Along with my specialty in Russian affairs, I am deeply interested in criminal, civic and urban life in the United States.
