I have been using Wikipedia as more of a consumer for over a decade for both personal knowledge and academic purposes, despite of most professors back in college referring to Wikipedia as a not so reliable source of information. Over the course of time I have used Wikipedia to further my knowledge I have come to realization that most content on science and economics section are most unbiased and reliable. However, my recent discovery among politics and countries section left me baffled due to lots of misinformation being listed on them. Specifically, wiki-pages relating to my home country of Uzbekistan being written and filled with ill-informed references that do not withhold truth in them, led me to create an account to target any misinformation that is being spread by individuals that have no knowledge regarding the country or its people. This by no means indicate that the contributions I am to make will be subjective or biased. As a longtime user of this grand source of knowledge I know what it means to receive and learn only valid information regarding any subject and I will make it my top priority that my contributions will be objective on par with ethical and moral standards set by Wikipedia.
