Entertainment attractions are forms of entertainment which existed in Hersheypark for multiple seasons. Shows that would appear in Music Box Theatre, such as Dance, Dance, Dance do not count because it was a seasonal show run. Some exceptions to multi-season shows occurred in the early 1970s as the park was renovating into its modern form. Types of shows that could have been multi-season shows were in some cases only in the park for one season.

Country Grill Restaurant was originally called Trail Blazer Theatre when it was opened in 1974. Music Box Theatre was originally called Dry Gulch Theatre from 1975 to 1976, renamed as Music Box Theatre in 1977.[233]
Hershey Park Ballroom
[edit]Hershey Park had a dance hall for all of its history. This subsection is specifically about the dance hall which was located on Park Boulevard and was operated from 1913 to 1970, and remained standing until 1977. (The original Hershey Park Dance Pavilion was located in what is today Kissing Tower Hill where the Overlook Arcade and Restaurant stands.)

When Hershey Park Ballroom was renovated into Starlight Ballroom, it was a significant enough renovation to consider it a new venue. In the years after the Ballroom was closed, company management named several things after the ballroom. Examples include the Starlight Terrace Ballroom at The Hotel Hershey, opened in 1995,[239] and the Starlight Arcade (mentioned in the Park Regions section below) which debuted in 1979.
Park catering areas

Keeping to a policy of starting new amusements each year, a new ride, "Lost River," will be opened on the site of the former "Mill Chute."

This season the park will operate four new rides, including "Golden Nugget", now under construction at the site of the former "Pretzel", the "Flying Coaster", a brand new amusement for adults and children, and the kiddies' "Helicopter" is ready for operation and work on the "Whip" is expected to begin next week. Duke's Dozers were also brought to Dutch Wonderland in 2003...Allan Herschell introduced this Tiny Tanks ride to the world in 1953. Hersheypark bought the ride used in 1976. At the time, it was based on army tanks. In 1981, Hersheypark completely rebuilt the ride and alltered the tanks to bulldozers, making it a one-of-a-kind ride called Earthmovers.

Back in 2004, the folks at Hershey decided to offer a scary Halloween adventure in place of their regular family-friendly celebration. They created a mad farmer named Cornelius Fields who ruled over psycho scarecrows. And they called it Hershey-park's Haunted Harvest. But nobody came. "It just didn't go over," says Kathy Burrows, Hershey public relations manager. "It was extremely well done and extremely scary. But that's not what people want when they come here. We never did it again."

"It's easy enough for a homeowner to use it," Smith said of the Light-O-Rama kit, "but it translates right up to commercial use." What Smith didn't realize was how quickly his home would become a major holiday attraction. "So I decorated the house and it was up for three nights, and there was a knock at the door," Smith said. "It was a reporter who wanted to do a story on it. The general manager of Dutch Wonderland drove to my house in a snowstorm and asked me to do a display for them." Smith took a job at Dutch Wonderland and opened their Christmas display in 2008. Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company has chosen an Apogee system to provide sound for the Hershey Park [sic] NightLights laser show. The laser show, which takes place in the Midway America area of the park, can accommodate 30,000 patrons and runs nightly as one the park's signature events.

Hersheypark has opened a new entertainment center appropriately named Trail Blazer Theatre. This rustic western style theatre features interesting country music acts as well as various other shows. ... The Trail Blazer Theatre ... offers the same high quality entertainment as the other attractions in the park. It took one five days to construct the theatre with Hersheypark's maintenance men working on it, and the public relations director was able to schedule good acts for each day until the end of the season. The Trail Blazer Theatre is located next to the Trail Blazer Roller Coaster.
