[edit]King was drafted in the first round (6th overall) of the 2015 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the Rochester Rattlers.[1][2] In his rookie season with the Rattlers, King appeared in 10 games. He finished the season ranked fourth on team in scoring with 35 points.[3] In 2016, King was left unprotected by the Rattlers and therefore available to be selected in the MLL Supplemental Draft. King was drafted in the ninth round (74th overall) of the 2017 MLL Supplemental Draft by the Atlanta Blaze.[4][5]
NLL
[edit]King was drafted in the first round (3rd overall) of the 2015 NLL Entry Draft by the Georgia Swarm.[6][7] In 2016, King was named the NLL Rookie of the Month for February, leading all NLL rookies in assists (16) and points (24) while tied for first in goals (8).[8] King finished the season with 77 points, helping the Swarm to their first NLL playoff appearance in franchise history. In his playoff debut, King tallied three points including his first career playoff goal in a 11-10 overtime loss to Colorado in the West Division semifinal.[9] King finished the 2016 NLL season as a NLL Rookie of the Year finalist, finishing the season ranked third on the Swarm, second among rookies and 18th overall in scoring.[10] King missed the entire 2017 NLL season after suffering an ACL injury.[11]
