This template generates an external link to the French Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) for a specific airport. These links change every 28 days and the template calculates the correct URL based on the current date.
Airports in France

- (unnamed) – airport's ICAO location indicator, i.e. LFMN
- name (optional) – airport's location, i.e. NICE CÔTE D'AZUR (location and bold print are as shown in the AIP). Most airports show two locations: the first is the city served, second is the city where the airport is located.
Short version (used in airport lists):

Technical information
[edit]The AIP is updated on a 28-day cycle as per the ICAO. For the online version of the French AIPs this causes a change in the URL involving the AIRAC effective date formatted as YYYY-MM-DD. This template uses the current date (presently 29 Aug 2024) to calculate the effective date. The following is a list for the current and upcoming AIRAC cycles:
- 2024-08-08 — effective 08 Aug 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2409)
- 2024-09-05 — effective 05 Sep 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2410)
- 2024-10-03 — effective 03 Oct 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2411)
- 2024-10-31 — effective 31 Oct 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2412)
- 2024-11-28 — effective 28 Nov 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2413)
- 2024-12-26 — effective 26 Dec 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2501)
- 2025-01-23 — effective 23 Jan 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2502)
- 2025-02-20 — effective 20 Feb 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2503)
- 2025-03-20 — effective 20 Mar 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2504)
