Initial copy-edit/review
[edit]I have spent a while proof-reading this (new) page, and applied a few minor corrections. However, the following points need to be examined and addressed appropriately:
- History section overlaps content of other sections. Would be best if detail of operation of the sluices, for example, was covered by that section, with only the briefest of coverage in history section. Same applies to certain other areas.
- There is at least one section where some text has been omitted/deleted, leaving an incomplete sentence. I have indicated this with an inline comment (see diffs). I vaguely remember my previous reading revealed several such instances, so all references should be checked carefully for </ref>, to ensure a badly formatted ref has not hidden any text content.
- There are several images without captions
- The initial image is rather small
I am sure there are more points to make, but the above was done from memory an hour after applying the initial changes, and I can't remember any others now!

The Floating Harbour did not give rise to the phrase "Shipshape and Bristol fashion" but rather the previous tidal harbour did as ships drying out at an angle lost deck cargos and items if not kept tidy and secure.
