[edit]is there any point having one page for tia and one for tamera when they say virtually the same thing?
I understand Tia and Tamera Mowry are identical twins, but their pages have exactly the same photo up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dano112358 (talk • contribs) 04:57, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Birthplace confusion
[edit]This article says the twins were born in San Diego, California, but the Tamera Mowry article and the reference here claim they were born in West Germany. ... discospinster talk 20:16, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Tia & Tamera Page?
[edit]I think that Tia & Tamera should have a page for work they have done together. The Olsen twins have one, but also have separate pages for their individual work. Why isn't there a "Tia AND Tamera" page?Olsentwinluv4ever (talk) 16:53, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Requested move 16 January 2019
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page to the proposed title at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 06:28, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
Tia Mowry → Tia Mowry-Hardrict – I would like more opinions on this one. Subject has been substantially credited by, and has been referred to in sourcing, by her married name since at least 2011 – e.g. EW in early 2011, Variety in 2013. However, I also notice a trend in the last year or two for secondary sourcing to refer to subject as simply "Tia Mowry" again, and the recent Netflix announcement for their new TV series Family Reunion – [1] – also is just "Tia Mowry". So I can't tell if this is a WP:NAMECHANGES situation or not. So this RM is to gauge wider consensus on the issue... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:41, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. Because she and her sister are identical twins and often work together, they are often referred to collectively as "Tia and Tamera Mowry", which I think is why they tend to still be credited by their maiden names. Rreagan007 (talk) 07:08, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, her maiden name is still more common and recognizable in the long-term of her career. WikiRedactor (talk) 15:49, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
- Support WP:NAMECHANGES
is compellingapplies in this situation. She is mostly credited with her new name, uses it and is referred to it in reliable sources. It has been long enough to look stable. Also listed that way on IMDb. We should give significant weight to how a person refers to themselves. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:26, 21 January 2019 (UTC)- I will say that this one is not nearly so clear-cut as the situation with sister Tamera – Tia is actually not consistently credited by her married name, esp. recently. That's why I'm actually ambivalent with this proposed WP:RM. I think arguments can be made either way, but the stronger arguments are probably on the side of not moving it... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 20:22, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- Not as clear but I still think WP:NAMECHANGES supports the move although recent credits in old name weakens that. See what others say. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:30, 21 January 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose - The current name is also commonly used, especially by major, mainstream news media and some books. If WP:NAMECHANGES isn't clear enough, how about WP:DIVIDEDUSE, which says to use the least, if not less, surprising, more familiar name, i.e. "Tia Mowry", or WP:MAIDEN? [edit]Reportedly, Tia Mowry tried being vegan - albeit 'for a short while' - because she felt better. During this time, she authored a book on the topic:
Deleted Information
[edit]Someone deleted all of the photo/bio information. 73.79.241.235 (talk) 01:37, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Who wrote this silly write-up?
[edit]I'm guessing one (or both) of the twins' press agent?
