Rapper
[edit]What makes him a rapper? a local news source saying he is? the press he pays for saying hes a rapper? It's very lucrative for white artists to make their music 'urban', but that does not make him a rapper. He does not make rap music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.146.215.18 (talk) 04:27, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Wikipedia summarises what multiple reliable sources say. If you personally disagree, good for you. SK2242 (talk) 11:54, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Late response, but I'm presuming you're saying this since you've only heard Without You, as that's the only one that comes on radios. Have you listened to Go, or "F*ck you, goodbye". Tell me after you've listened to both those songs. SHB2000 (talk) 11:28, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- He has stated it himself personally in many interviews. In one of the interviews where he was around 13-14, he says he used to rap when he was 7 and stood on his bed pretending it was a stage and he would just freestyle random words. Wargravy (talk) 13:15, 20 September 2021 (UTC)Wargravy
- Maybe you should listen to his music 2600:1011:B195:6632:2823:F850:FBF4:ED78 (talk) 00:19, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Literally listen to his music and you'll find out why 🤣 Hydro Aido (talk) 22:02, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
Sentence is not correct
[edit]This sentence "He later found out that he was Aboriginal when he was 18" is definitely incorrect. He's 17 and how can he change his age when he feels like it? SHB2000 (talk) 06:56, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- @SHB2000: the sentence is correct if read in the correct context, it is a continuation from the previous sentence and referring to the Kid Laroi's great-great grandfather. I have edited it for clarity though. Alex (talk) 07:41, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Early Life: Sloane Howard vs. Cody Phillips
[edit]It appears that as of this edit, Sloane Howard's name was changed on the page to 'Cody Phillips' without any justification or source. The only references to Cody Phillips I can find in the context of The Kid LAROI come from this page, leading me to believe this may be a nonconstructive edit. Until a justification is given for this change, I'm reverting the name to Sloane Howard. Robert lavery (talk) 15:55, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Grade A
[edit]@Grant Edwards: can you please explain why you are continuing to remove information that is reliably sourced from the article? We have three sources which support Grade A, and you have provided nothing which supports the claim you are making. Alex (talk) 18:52, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- @GrantEdwards: re-pinging you as I realised I originally added a space in your name so you didn't actually get notified of this. Alex (talk) 17:10, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

Problem
[edit]The is no pictures of some of the celebrities like The Kid Laroi and 24kGoldn 41.114.0.116 (talk) 15:59, 16 November 2021 (UTC) That is noted in the request for copyright free images above.Grapepinky (talk) 15:30, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Where is your reference for that? He attended Christian schools and has stated he believes in something bigger.Grapepinky (talk) 15:32, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
- He also says in several songs things about praying to god and he hopes god is listening and he knows god has a plan for his life. He's also really good friends and deeply influenced by Justin Bieber, who is a christian Hydro Aido (talk) 22:05, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
Howard vs Laroi
[edit]There was inconsistency throughout the page on whether to refer to this artist as "Laroi" or "Howard". The latter seems to prevail and I've amended to make this consistent throughout as I couldn't see any discernible reason for the inconsistency. I don't think it matters that much whether it's Laroi or Howard, but it should be consistent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grapevine73 (talk • contribs) 11:18, 1 January 2022 (UTC)
Bias
[edit]This article mentions that he "snitched" on his mother who sold drugs, which is definitely not neutral and that he went to the "highly selective, prestigious private school", none of which is necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.91.254.122 (talk) 22:22, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
