Request for semi-protection
[edit]A quick glance of the history indicates that this page has been vandalized. I would recommend semi-protection.

- The vandalism you mentioned is not in large enough numbers to warrant semi protection. See the protection policy for more info. Harryboyles 11:06, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Splints
[edit]It's not clear how long the splints should be kept in place. Is it just one day? Pgr94 (talk) 16:18, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- This may take three days or so. And the doctor has to remove it. Afalbrig (talk) 06:32, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Splints should typically stay for a week, and patients should get antibiotics to cover for gram positive organisms while the splints are in place. Prophylax (talk) 20:16, 14 April 2024 (UTC)

Surgical details
[edit]Should the section on surgical details be expanded (eg, to include different types of incisional approaches)? Prophylax (talk) 20:17, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
