Merge proposal
[edit]I propose merging Volume CT into Rotational angiography. Aren't they mighty close to being the same thing? —Quantling (talk | contribs) 14:44, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
- Volume CT and rotational angiography are done on two different pieces of equipment. They do not produce the same images. Rotational angiography may produce images in a similar style because it rotates around the patient but they are used in very different ways. 70.95.98.227 (talk) 23:52, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Merge Supporting my own proposal. The Rotational angiography article currently says "Synonyms for rotational angiography include flat-panel volume CT<ref name=guptarsna /> and cone-beam CT.<ref name=hartkens />"— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.95.98.227 (talk) 00:52, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Delete rather than merge - no inline citations, with references describing 'under development' from 18 years ago - a merge would only harm the target. Alternatively, a redirect of Volume CT (with no merge) to the broader CT scan would be better, noting that it doesn't even mention angiography. Klbrain (talk) 10:42, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
