Transferred 'Background to Liverpool Pride' section to Liverpool Pride main article

[edit]

I've been working intensely on the Liverpool Gay Quarter article for many months and the entirety of the article is my own work. I created a new page titled Liverpool Pride this morning and felt it made much more sense to cut the 'Background to Liverpool Pride' section from the Liverpool Gay article and copy it over to a newly created section on the new Liverpool Pride article. NB: I have not vandalised, deleted, or omitted any information, but merely cut an entire section from the Liverpool Gay Quarter article and pasted it to the new Liverpool Pride article. (talk)

Thanks to contributions on crime from Lionelt, I believe this now adds some neutrality to the article. (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:18, 15 August 2011 (UTC). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.28.91.124 (talk) [reply]

Article reads like an advert?

Please note, Stanley Street, Liverpool is now a candidate for deletion, which I have now contested. One editor has argued that this article is too similar to the Stanley Street article. If you feel this way, please let me know how I can improve as I am very new to this process (Richie wright1980 (talk) 05:27, 10 July 2008 (UTC))[reply]

New LGBT Historic England project

[edit]

Hi all

I work for Historic England and we currently have an LGBT project called 'Pride of Place' where we're trying to map all the LGBT-significant places in England (see http://mapme.com/prideofplace) - feel free to add some things!

kind regards, Dominic Martin
