All the images are at the top, with different sizes. Could they be moved around a bit more, perhaps with one of them moved to the history section. Also, remove the forced image sizing.
"Feared" is redundant to "concerns" in "feared environmental concerns". (fixed)
I've added a comma a few places, mostly to give the reader a few more places to take a breath.
