Some questions

[edit]

Just a couple of questions I think this article should answer.

Was this the first neanderthal fossil identified as a new species? Is this the most recent remains found of this species? Soloist (talk) 07:41, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

let's end this pitiful state

[edit]

Hi! I happened to come across the article a couple of days ago. It is in a rather pitiful state. Its German counterpart is a featured article, though. Since i like the subject and did a similar translation before (Mauer 1) - well, i am on it.

Refs

[edit]

Hi! i am done with the text. I put a translate tag on top here. For now i simply copied the refs, which are not ideal - i see what i can find to replace them. PLEASE - check the translation and CORRECT!

last section (relation to modern humans)

[edit]

i suggest this section - although i simply copied it from Neanderthal's head section - because many of the genome project's samples were derived from Neanderthal 1. Additionally it deals with open topics of the above section (excavations of 1997 and 2000). Please correct me, if i am wrong. Thanks
