nn used to represent noon, as in "10am - 12nn"

[edit]

I've just recently encountered the use of nn to represent noon, as in "10am - 12nn", and am wondering what the n's actually stand for (or if it just means "noon" with a double n to make it match the format of am and pm). Wikipedia is my usual source of information of that nature, and so once I find it or if someone else does, I think it should be added as another item in this disambiguation list. --Qrystal 18:41, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
