"Vichy" water
[edit]"In England, effervescent mineral water is often referred to as "Vichy water," which refers to water from the springs at Vichy, France."
I've added a citation needed flag to this sentence in the first section, I'm English and I've never heard of this before :) Lucaspiller (talk) 16:21, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
kimberlite mineral water
[edit]Has anyone tried making a mineral water with kimberlite emphasizing the from diamonds perspective. Unlike some spa waters kimberlite could have an advantage. Peer reviewed published research notes that buckminsterfullerene when fed to rodents makes them twice as long. beyond microscopic diamonds, nanodiamonds the same diameter as buckminsterfullerene may be fairly plentiful at kimberlite. It is possible that hydrogenating these nanodiamonds will give a similar longevity effect as buckminsterfuillerene if scientifically measured. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.185.2.34 (talk) 01:15, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Mineral?
[edit]Although mineral water does contain disolved minerals, is this why it is called mineral water? Could it be that it is called mineral water because it comes from underground - in the same sense as mineral oil - I've have often wondered. Composition Of Mineral water
[edit]The allegation that ozonation does not alter the composition of mineral water is absolutely not true. Ozonation degrades the natural organic acids in the water called humic acids which come from leaf and bog fermentation, the fermentation bacteria producing beneficial growth hormones in the humic acids. One of the humic acids degraded by ozone is is called Fulvic acid and has huge health benefits. All mineral water and spring water sold in markets is ozonated, and misbranded as spring water or mineral water, It should be branded as ozonated mineral water or spring water.
