Aerial minelaying
[edit]Untitled
[edit]I added the section, based on Hartcup, Hartmann, et al. I said "Mining was also used in the Korean War and in Vietnam. In Vietnam, rivers were extensively mined", but I think it was "for the first time", except I (vaguely) recall Hartmann said river mining was first done in Burma in about 1944. If somebody can confirm & correct? Trekphiler 16:46, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
"JGSDF Type94 Minelayer"
[edit]"JGSDF Type94 Minelayer" This looks like a pontoon amphibious truck, which drives into a river, unfolds the thing on its back and serves as ferry or pontoon bridge. Lastdingo (talk) 07:10, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
