Removing Image:2f9560312e404fe.jpg as lead image.
[edit]This image, by no means, reflects anything Midtown Madness 2 was suppose to include (Neither the pictured location nor car were featured in the game), and will mislead readers of this article. Anything that doesn't feature pre-existing features will be removed. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 16:18, 23 May 2006 (UTC) ╫
Cleanup process
[edit]I've begun the cleanup process, as quite simply, the last version was cringeable to say the least. M3Plus 04:11, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
I think Midtown Madness is a game very good talking about his graphic, dimensions, creation and the most important is that I liked that game very much. When I had the operation of me ears I played that amazing game like Grand Theft Auto (Gta) San Andreas, I always played and cruise with the car named Ford Mustand and I striked to every car I'd saw and used also the trashmaster, that car is very good to strike cars and break them. The cars stay quite when something touches them and then some minutes later the cars come back to cruise. If you like the game GTA San Andreas I write some codes and cheats. All cars have nitro:SPEEDFREAK Boats fly:FLYINGFISH Chaos mode:STATEOFEMERGENCY No wanted level:TESTEDUCATIONALSKILLS
Can I just say that, although I never added the Flying Cars bit, it is very hard to reference, as game glitches in this game are rarely documented by the developer or any other credible source. Yes, this goes against Wikipedia. But it's not an unreferenced remark in the same sense as scientific research. M3Plus 01:00, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it is unreferenced in the sense of WP:V and WP:CITE. Remy B 02:02, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
mention that GTA SA was created by some of the same artists (Rockstar Games = Angel Studios). It's true, Angel Studios became a part of Rockstar after MM2.
That's why San Fierro is so perfected
Bus simulator?
[edit]I'm not sure this section is really relevant, although I'm unwilling to enter into a revert war. The redlinks are unnecessary - Wikipedia does not have any need for articles on "virtual bus companies" for a start, and the English is patchy in parts. It's pretty NN from what I can tell. Can we please discuss whether this section is really necessary? haz (talk) e 15:56, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I reckon the section is partially unreferenced. But mostly, it's not up to the standard of the rest of the article in terms of spelling and grammar. I'm also aware that using MM2 as a bus simulator is not just confined to Hong Kong, but it still doesn't describe a notable use of it - not enough to warrant a section on what is essentially an encyclopedia. Finally, I wouldn't consider removing it as vandalism, but that's just me. M3Plus 04:51, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
glitches in the game
[edit]In the spot where a rail line terminates in this game, it looks as if it was not complete when the game was released. For example in the London Underground part that is drivable through, the platforms in the station are several feet away from the track, the trains in the tunnel constantly go off the track when making a curve and the train doors never open or close (the train stops at the station for an approximate 20 seconds and then continues on). The San Francisco cable car lines to Fishermans Wharf also lack any turntable (when the car reaches the end it makes an instant 180 degree turn around and starts heading back) and they just use the same double ended cars on all visible lines (which, in reality, are only present on the California Street Cable Car line). A small part about these glitches in the game could be included in the article, perhaps. trainfan01 8:14, September 11, 2010 (UTC)
Game was made in 2000. I don't think there is a need for this.--Axel™ (talk) 21:08, 25 November 2011 (UTC) Edit: Just noticed comment was from September of 2010, not 2011... Oh well. --Axel™ (talk) 21:09, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
