@ArmTheInsane: Regarding your edit here: [1] can I please ask that you stop adding this information and talk about your addition? I have several concerns. Firstly, you are copying information from another Wikipedia article without attribution, which is a copyright violation. Secondly, you are duplicating information that belongs in another article (i.e the article about the squadron itself), and puts too much emphasis on a small aspect which seems to be going against the guidance in WP:DUE. Thirdly, you are adding information that is unsourced, against WP:V. Finally, you are removing sourced information (i.e. the citations I added to the RAAF Historical Section). Please discuss why you feel it important to include this information in this manner. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 07:40, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The points above notwithstanding, I have expanded the article a bit to include mention of the other RAAF units based at Merauke, also, and would welcome feedback about that also. No doubt that, too, could be expanded, but I would ask that you only do so by citing reliable sources and without copy-pasting content in large chunks, and without attribution, from other articles. @Ian Rose and Nick-D: G'day, Ian and Nick, as the project's resident RAAF-buffs, or editors who have an interest in that area, do you have anything more to add to the article in relation to the RAAF's contribution to the article, or feedback you'd like to add? Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 08:28, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
