Little Eddie
[edit]The article seems to say that Little Eddie is the name of the brute that Jack faces. It may be the nickname of his chainsaw, though, seeing as how the announcer says "Here comes little eddie" at the same time he draws it. What is to be done until this is clarified?
- He's actually referred to by name in a GamePro preview of the game. Kraid (talk) 05:22, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Voice Actors
[edit]Jack is Steve Blum. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.109.0.48 (talk) 07:05, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Most sources for this are blogs, which are non-notable sources on Wikipedia. And the sources for this which aren't blogs say something along the lines of Jack 'seeming' to be voiced by Blum. What something might seem to be isn't solid enough to cite. Just give it a little more time. Kraid (talk) 07:12, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Yasumi Matsuno on the MadWorld team.

WiiWare
[edit]Do you think that it's worth mentioning on the article that MadWorld was originally a WiiWare title? The problem is, I can't find a viable source on the internet, but I work at Gamestop and we've known that it was a WiiWare title for a while before it was switched over to being a full fledged game. Wireless Spatula (talk) 02:58, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Kinnikuman
[edit]I think it should be worth mentioning somewhere that certain aspects of this game pays respects to kinnikuman. I mean seriously, from what I have seen from the trailer and a magazine ad, one can perform a "Tower Bridge" and a "Kinniku Buster" on their opponent! That screams Homage! DELETE THIS
[edit]Hi all,
Sorry for my lack of wiki know it all but I'm not sure how to remove an article, can i ask someone that knows how to delete an article to delete this one:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_World_(Wii)
Clearly this is not in the spirit of wiki!
Many thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.216.211.109 (talk) 00:35, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Huh? Why would you want to delete this?--Megaman en m (talk) 08:24, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Ha ha, I added that comment (sorry, forgot to tilde it) it now redirects to the correct site, however originally when I wrote this it redirected to another quite angry article about the violence in the game seemingly written by a quite moralistic Australian. It appears to be fixed now and redirects here. Please don't delete the main article :) Danno81 (talk) 10:14, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well then I guess this problem is solved. And don't worry, no one is going to deleted pages without a reason.--Megaman en m (talk) 11:37, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Announcer voice actor
[edit]I thought it would be interesting to add the fact that John DiMaggio did the voice of the announcer Chris Creeley (the one with the raspy voice). For those who don't know, DiMaggio was also the voice of Bender from Futurama and Marcus Fenix from the Gears of War games. Slothboyadvance (talk) 22:56, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Slothboyadvance
- It's mentioned in the plot section IIRC. Geoff B (talk) 23:03, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Why is there nothing about the soundtrack?
[edit]I mean, game most articles have something about it, and Mad World's is pretty unique. --Mr. Mittens —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.48.215.237 (talk) 21:31, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Requested move 29 July 2015
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: no consensus, leaning towards not moved. Proposed title created as a redirect. Jenks24 (talk) 14:18, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
MadWorld → MadWorld (video game) – Should follow either precedent: LoveGame or GetItRight (Miley Cyrus song). Of course, they are music songs, but their titles follow the same style as the video game's title. Either the video game isn't more significant than the well-known song, Mad World, or the title isn't that precise or well distinctive (primary or not). Of course, you may disagree with me. - Oppose There's no name conflict, and if it is the case that this might get confused with the song that has a space in the title, we can add in a hatnote to show that. --MASEM (t) 14:29, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
- Support the current title should point to the disambiguation page Mad World (disambiguation) -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 04:57, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- Support this move and point base name to dab 76.120.162.73 (talk) 18:27, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Relisting because none of the support !votes give any reason, why this moved should be made. Armbrust The Homunculus 14:04, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- Support, see Mad World dab. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:15, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- There's only one other "MadWorld" (no space) on the dab page, and that's not even a link. Spaces are allowable distinguishers for names as long as the non-spaced version is pointed out. --MASEM (t) 14:03, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose a hatnote is enough, similar to Westham and many others. Peter James (talk) 22:37, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:SMALLDETAILS. The current setup is fine.--Cúchullain t/c 16:28, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
