[edit]Just bought 300ml and find it has been reformulated, and now owned by Henkel of Dusseldorf. All information on this product needs review and update, particularly the list of constituents. N longer contains chlorocresol, so how Henkel can claim "New formula same great Jeyes"? - it's disingenuous. They now call it "Outdoor cleaner". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:60A3:3001:2566:8D0A:6AD7:F8A7 (talk) 10:15, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
Outdoor use or personal hygiene?
[edit]The intro says it's for outdoor use, but then it says it was licensed to a load of brands that are mostly known for personal hygiene products, and further down it says doctors used to bath people in it.
Can someone fix this, or if it's all correct then please add an explanation. (Maybe it was in baths in 1888, in personal hygiene products in 1988, and only in outdoor use nowadays?) Gronky (talk) 18:27, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
- I've changed t to what I'm pretty sure it actually meant to say - "external use only" - i.e., not to be swallowed or used on cuts. Grutness...wha? 08:32, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

Ready to use
[edit]This seems to be a very expensive way of buying Jeyes fluid and given that it now comes in a plastic container a not very environmentally friendly one. I won’t buy it again unless I can find some of the older type which needs diluting. 2A02:C7C:1C28:4B00:34F9:2FC0:2B10:2C56 (talk) 15:36, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- Undiluted (but new formula) Jeyes Fluid is widely available from supermarkets, DIY stores etc just like it used to be. The choice is yours to buy that or the ready to use liquid. I preferred the tins too but the plastic is recyclable and using lighter materials means less pollution during transportation. That's the argument. Lily Pym (talk) 09:12, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
