Screenshot

[edit]

How come this episode has a screenshot? even though it did not air? (24.184.46.20 17:50, 19 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]

on the official family guy blog they posted screenshotsGrande13

err.. Does the banner on the stage, in the screenshot say "Governor Debate"? aren't they contending for the office of Mayor? 192.8.211.11 09:21, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A.Bo

[edit]

Did anyone else notice the episode (when it airs) says that it's written as "a.bo." This is obviously "Alex Borstein", but why a.bo?

Presumably as a reference to J-Lo. Felicity4711 00:38, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guitar

[edit]

Did someone remove my comment about the left-handed guitar? I'm pretty sure it was accurate. Just in case, here it is again.

Peter Griffin was using a left-handed guitar at the campfire. other instances, such as the rock lobster song in The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire and most of Deep Throats had him playing a normal guitar. (82.46.178.34 05:20, 17 May 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Subplot

[edit]

Um.. when did Peter ever experience the perks of being the first lady? It didn't even seem like there were two plots in this one.

it was brief, but he had the power to reroute the electricity and bring back that comedian. there might have been other small details as well Grande13 17:27, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"After the lake is cleaned, however, Lois — and Peter, using Lois — begins to abuse her power, at first by using some of the tax surplus to buy a $600 purse"

There wasn't enough Peter being invovled to classify as a subplot.

Olbermann Apperance

[edit]

I know that Keith Olbermann was on the show as Bob Grossbeard but , WHERE IS HE!!! I diidn't catch him in the FOX version, but I don't pay attention to small details when I first see an episode. I'd much rather laugh than work. So I payed attention in the [adult swim] version. He still isn't there. Where is he!?! --BrianGriffin-FG 15:54, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind. I found it.--BrianGriffin-FG 22:31, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FOX and Adult Swim differences

[edit]

In the second-to-last point on this section, it states that Fox edits the Channel 5 newscast, so that Tom Tucker remarks: "Can a woman really be mayor, or will she just bleed all over the city?" where on the Adult Swim version they replace bleed with menstrate. As I just watched the FOX episode, I can confirm that either they re-edited the line to it's original version or that it was a false statement to begin with.

Fair use rationale for Image:ItTakesVillageIdiot.jpg

[edit]

Image:ItTakesVillageIdiot.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

per WP:V, if no third party sources exist for a topic, we should not have an article on it. -- The Red Pen of Doom 20:14, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.

  1. Is it well written?
    A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:
In the Plot, "...as Mayor West proves more politically savvy than she", shouldn't "she" be "her"? Same section, same sentence, just a suggestion ---> "...as Mayor West proves to be more politically savvy than her", again just a suggestion.
    Done. Gage (talk) 20:11, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    Check.
    B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:
  2. Is it verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check?
    A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:
    B. Reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose):
    C. It contains no original research:
    D. It contains no copyright violations nor plagiarism:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. It addresses the main aspects of the topic:
    B. It stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style):
  4. Is it neutral?
It represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each:
  5. Is it stable?
It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute:
  6. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
Not that much to do. If the above query can be dealt with, I will pass the article. Good luck!

Happy Days theme to Brigadoon what now?

[edit]

The song is just about Don (Donny) Most. It's neither Rock Around the Clock or the Happy Days theme. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vicious203 (talkcontribs) 02:29, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
