I added both Tipton County, Tennessee and Mississippi County, Arkansas as categories. Might sound strage at first because the two counties are separated by the Mississippi River. Well, most but not all of it. Read the article about Reverie, Tennessee. Island 35 is politically part of Tipton County, due to earthqakes in 1811 and 1812 the Mississippi River changed course and the island is now on the Arkansas side of the river, though still part of Tipton County, Tennessee. It is one of these anomalies. doxTxob \ talk23:28, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Same as above. I am not sure if the categories are appropriate, after all. The site of the island 35 mastodon was damaged by souvenier hunters even before it could be properly excavated and preserved. Today it is destroyed. But still, it was a site where an excavation took place. doxTxob \ talk23:37, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
