I have a problem with the picture labeled "female humphead wrasse at the surface". These fish do not have sexual dimorphism, therefore you could only infer this from the size, which may be incorrect as there have been mid-sized males reported.-- Ochotona (talk) 21:21, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The female adult Maori Humphead Wrasse can change sex. Scientists do not know how this occurrs as yet. Bob the chicken is the bomb, 2010. NO information on the hump’s content?

[edit]

The fish is studied for over a hundred and fifty years, so there is no way the subject was not analysed. However, there is no information about within a quick search, the only thing results indicate is that scientists suggest the reason for the hump, but not about what is inside it and why it id inedible. 91.223.75.168 (talk) 08:04, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
