He did graduate from Greeley!

Focus and neutrality

[edit]

Hello Greeleyites on Wikipedia: first of all, you rock. Second, this isn't meant to be an ad for the high school (although there certainly is plenty to trumpet).

Weight needs to be given to more than just the competitive, excelling extra-curriculars and universities. What are some of the other clubs? Sports? Where are people actually going to college? (I know that NYU and Binghamton have far more Greeley grads attending there than Amherst or Hopkins do.) Another glance at that big black binder in the guidance offices wouldn't be a bad idea.

Some info about the unusual architecture of the place would be pretty cool, too, not to mention its distinctive culture and colorful past. - Omphaloscope 08:54, 2 November 2005 (UTC), Class of 2004[reply]

The bit about "superstar" quarterback Julian Rosenberg looks like it was embellished. I mean seriously, the cries of his name can be heard miles away? Reads like classic vandalism. --70.127.201.86 01:14, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Drop it?

[edit]

Hey Omphaloscope, it seems to me that almost all of your points of contention have been addressed. The college matriculation info sees well-rounded, as does the presentation of clubs and extracurriculars. Care to drop your dispute? - Admaxistrator 8:18, 17 January 2006 (EST), Class of 2000

I don't see any problem with the POV on this page.

Sure. Omphaloscope » talk 16:00, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni: Lawrence Meyers

[edit]

Who is Lawrence Meyers, the screenwriter? Is he this guy: [1]?

What is notable about Gordon Macdougall?

[edit]

Gordon Macdougall ('78-'79) public school teacher isn't particulary famous, is he? I'll remove it for now, but if anyone has any major gripes, you can put it back.

Needs References

[edit]

This article needs to cite sources for the information it gives. It also seems to read almost as an advertisement. 24.44.81.225 05:24, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreeed. I'm about a week away from tagging this baby if it doesn't clean up. Mjl0509 18:25, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni

[edit]

After nearly 1 year, I am going to begin doing some housecleaning on unreferenced alumni. Please add reliable citations for alumni status and notability. -- Lucas20 (talk) 22:04, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
