{{editprotected}}Hampstead School used to be a Haberdasher Askes school and still has the old school's motto 'Serve and Obey' on the face of the main building.:This article is only semiprotected to edit, so nearly any editor can do so if appropriate. --MZMcBride 19:17, 12 September 2007 (UTC) Hampstead School was never a secondary modern, but opened in 1961 (after Habs moved to Elstree) as a purpose built (the new block) flagship comprehensive before Comprehensive schools became government policy in the late 1960s. Anarchy

[edit]

Someone needs to report the astonishing tale of the schoolboy viciously persecuted by his Headmaster, Hampstead School head Jacques Szemalikowski (Department for Education No. 202/4275), for his intellectual views. Tread carefully this is an iceberg story.

A headteacher reported a teenage blogger to the police and phoned a university he had applied to with a warning about his behaviour after criticisms of the school appeared online. Kinnan Zaloom, 19, has been told never to return to the grounds of Hampstead School again...

"You called Kinnan "a developing anarchist". Regardless of Kinnan's political views and whether he believes in it or not, agreeing with anarchism is not illegal. And we aren't dangerous. We have never threatened to attack or harm anything or anyone."

I agree. It should also be noted for the record that this school is likely at risk to edit their own article to remove anything critical of them. Perhaps a semi-protected status should be considered? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.39.134.130 (talk) 18:35, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
