Requested move

The result of the move request was: page moved. Splitting does make sense at some time in the future. But I think having two stubs right now is not needed. If anyone else wants, they can do a proper split. Vegaswikian (talk) 16:48, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Half Moon Lake (Alberta) → Half Moon Lake, Alberta — Move from Half Moon Lake (Alberta) to Half Moon Lake, Alberta to be consistent with Community, Province convention used for the vast majority of Alberta community articles. It was once Half Moon Lake, Alberta but was moved to the current title, perhaps in haste. The hamlet is more notable than the small lake in which the hamlet surrounds.
As a result of the move, Half Moon Lake (Alberta) could redirect to Half Moon Lake, Alberta or directly to the Half Moon Lake, Alberta#The lake section.
Alternately, the article could be split into Half Moon Lake, Alberta and Half Moon Lake (Alberta) just like Sylvan Lake, Alberta and Sylvan Lake (Alberta). Hwy43 (talk) 07:32, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- Support, this artilce is about the hamlet. 117Avenue (talk) 20:11, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- Support in accordance with Naming Conventions. Skinsmoke (talk) 23:23, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- Split the lake to remain at the current title, the hamlet to move to the proposed title. 65.94.253.16 (talk) 05:14, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
