Explaining my changes

[edit]
  • I added numbers he wore for Houston and St. Louis.
  • He started out as a safety.
  • His "career" ended in 2006 after being with the Stampeders.
  • College stats are traditionally not put in retired NFL infoboxes. I've never seen it.
  • Leads should summarize articles per policy, so the professional teams he's played for are relevant, as is the fact he won a Super Bowl. The infobox is irrelevant in this regard.
  • Linking schools multiple times is acceptable. Articles can't be linked multiple times in Wikipedia if they are in different sections. If I want to click on Air Force, I shouldn't have to find the first mention of it to do so.
  • According to his KFFL page, Akbar was signed by the Jaguars in January 27, 2004 and allocated to NFL Europe. Can't say whether he played there, but we do know he was allocated.►Chris NelsonHolla! 03:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
BFD about Air Force and Jacksonville (in the lower sections), it's not even two full paragraphs above the second one. If someone can't go up and click the first one, then tey shouldn't be on this article. I agree that it should be linked twice if it's at the top of the article and then a good ways down the article. However, if it's that close, it doesn't need to be. Different section or not. --Crash Underride 08:47, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
