Early life
[edit]Can we PLEASE get some info on Greg's early life?? (where he grew up, went to school, etc.) Did he attend high school at Poly iu Baltimore?
Vandalism
[edit]I've removed a lot of vandalism/nonsense that was tacked onto the end of the article. Specifically, the allusions to the non-existent pirate album. All of it is coming from one user, wolf1124, who apparently created an account for the sole purpose of vandalizing this article.
- yeah, that was uncalled for, my apologies.
Dear Mr. Kihn
[edit]Can you please see to it that "Next of Kihn" is released on CD someday? I love that album, and the song "Remember" brings back some vivid memories for me when I listen to the LP that I own. That was when I first started listening to FM, KOME, KSJO, and KMEL. I think KOME was the one that played "Remember" for awhile. Neanderthalprimadonna (talk) 15:04, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Pronunciation
[edit]Is it Kin? Keen? Kine? Could someone mention it in the article? Draggleduck (talk) 15:58, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Dubious
[edit]The page has recently been edited to claim that Kihn recently (June of 2011) became the morning DJ at KUFX. I believe this is untrue; he has been the morning DJ on KUFX for much longer than that, and no cite is given. I can't find a solid cite with the actual date to correct the article, though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.228.54.68 (talk) 06:24, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Mass Deletion
[edit]This article is entirely undocumented. Further, the prose style is similar to The Greg Kihn Band article, including some word for word replication. The band is slightly better documented, but only slightly. The similarities and the (restrained) positive/PR tone of the article indicated it was written by someone favorably disposed, if not directly connected, the to the subject(s).
For this reason unless some knowledgeable person documents the article(s), I intend to shrink both to stub status, leaving the discographies intact.
I like Greg Kihn and his music, but this IS an encyclopedia, not a publicity venue. (This is a near replication of a similar entry on the talk page of the band article. Regards Tapered (talk) 03:22, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Personal Life
[edit]It'd be nice if someone more knowledgeable - and who has the time - would flesh out Kihn's private life. Who he is married to, children other than his son who plays in the group with him, etc. The article reads too closely to the band page in my opinion with only a few additions connected directly to Kihn himself.THX1136 (talk) 22:35, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
