Status of Liberia

[edit]

Liberia and the United States shared a strong bilateral relationship during the Cold War and received aid from them, however later on they became more neutral. My question is, should Liberia be included on the map from 1975? They sided with the US on most matters and, though they severed ties with Israel during the Yom Kippur war, they continued to support the United States somewhat until the 1980 coup. 2605:59C8:7DB:AA10:900D:4077:6F58:A22D (talk) 03:30, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Remove the grey portion?

[edit]

Although cold war is the main period of our human history, why the infobox has the subheading which conaisting the period of time and the fact cold war is part of post ww2 era. So why someone even added that? We should move the time period from gray area into white area within the pages infobox. Any suggwstion? @The Banner 182.253.54.87 (talk) 03:30, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, what do you want exactly? And why do you ping me? The Banner talk 08:48, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@The Banner, i want to remove the gray part of the infobox of cold war, where it shows the date and the part of event it belongs. I ping you because i want to bring discussion into removing the gray portion so cold war is an independent period ie it is not part of the aftermath of ww2. 182.3.43.247 (talk) 01:55, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then make a clear proposal (under a separate header) to do this. I like to see your arguments. The Banner talk 09:48, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Many historians have argued that the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the rise of China shows the Cold War never ended. 2A00:23C5:C416:A601:84CB:18D9:E9CA:8A0 (talk) 13:49, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clear the gray part of the infobox of this page?

[edit]

@The Banner here is the proposal: remove the gray apart of the infobox about cold War. The reason for doing this is the statement that cold War is not considered a part of the aftermath of ww2 but rather an independent time period where the war between ideologies ensues until the fall of USSR in 1991. 2404:C0:2F10:0:0:0:4460:A182 (talk) 13:45, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Hohum, please cold war is an independent period, where it has own right to be a time era without worrying the fact it is part of the aftermath of world war 2. 182.253.54.117 (talk) 17:46, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Missing reference

[edit]

@User-duck: Your edit here added a reference — {{sfn|Singh|1995|p=130}} — that does not point to a citation. Can this error be fixed? —GoldRingChip 20:28, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I did not add the reference. I added the sfn template which allowed the CS1 software to report the ref error. Maybe you can track down the editor that added the ref. User-duck (talk) 22:46, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Found in old page revision, also fixed year. (Hohum @) 16:39, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
