Photo identification

Hi !

I'm not a pro in ant identification, so I don't want to make a mistake by changing the pictures, though, I have some doubts regarding the fact that the queen (and maybe worker) presented in them are really of Formica pratensis. I think the red mark on the head should go more around the eyes, nearly surrendering them... Maybe this could be due to some variability in the individuals though. Can any one confirm or infirm ?
