Well, he does not teach Cryptography II but always postpones it. Incorrect Name

[edit]

His full name is actually not Daniel Boneh, but just Dan Boneh (דן בונה). I tried to edit the page directly, but it looks like it was immediately changed back. 171.66.3.242 (talk) 18:25, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I restored your edit; thanks for making it and for continuing to push the issue after it was undone. We can discuss this, but unless someone can come up with reliable sources contradicting what you say, I think it should stay as "Dan". —David Eppstein (talk) 22:07, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Terman Award

[edit]

Best I can tell, the Terman award is for Stanford students, not faculty. The confusion might spring from https://engineering.stanford.edu/students-academics/academics/student-awards/terman-awards-2015-2016, where Dan Boneh is listed as an advisor, not an awardee. I am removing the Terman Award from his list of awards. If I am in error, please add it back in with a source explaining the nature of the award and showing that he won it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BenKuykendall (talkcontribs) 15:15, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
