Genus?

[edit]

Shouldn't this be Cronobacter sakazakii and not Enterobacter sakazakii? --Nessie (talk) 16:47, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New genus

[edit]

E.s. was reclassified as 6 species of Cronobacter, incl. C.s., please see Taxonomy section for more.

In 2011 two new species were added to the Cronobacter genus; C. universalis and C. condimenti.

Someone between Dec 2011 and Jan 2012 incorrectly modified this page to say 'C. sakazakii=E sakazakii' which is a common mis-understanding about the organism, it is incorrect and contradicts the rest of the entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.71.75.208 (talk) 11:06, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
