mg/Mg?
[edit]What is a mg/Mg? What do those numbers mean? " yields from this "black gumbo" surface material often exceeded thirty carats per hundred loads (50 mg/Mg) " Conversion says 50cts is equal to "50 carats = 10 000 milligrams"or 10 grams. Why isn't this 10 grams per 100 cart loads of 1600 pounds per cart load, or 160,000 pounds of earth yielded 10 grams of diamonds, 2591.96 ounces (161 pounds - 72574.8 grams) of raw earth yielded a 1 mg of diamonds. Where does this 50mg come from? This needs a source or should probably be removed as even the numbers seem to be pulled from nowhere. Is this milligram (of diamond) per megagram of earth? That doesn't add up as 10 million grams would equal a single milligram, when the number is 72,000 grams for a milligram (of diamond) or 72 million milligrams per milligram (of diamond). Value?
[edit]Hi there.
It would be nice if the value for which diamonds were bought/sold would be displayed next to them.
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:2ED6:9470:B4E9:EF04:85F4:3E97 (talk) 16:49, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

Bloat in 'Notable diamonds found'
[edit]It looks like we're adding a new entry every time the Arkansas State Parks department puts out a press release. I think we should trim it back to finds which received actual press, and outside the local area or finder's hometown area. Valereee (talk) 12:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- I've trimmed. Could possibly be trimmed some more, there are still a couple of entries that are iffy. Valereee (talk) 20:10, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
