Necessary to Mention Presidential Association?
[edit]It seems forced and unnecessary to include details that the President and his opponent had registered agents here. It's likely that many presidential campaigns have associations with this company and I feel the example mentioning big name companies like Apple & Google serve enough as an example. 184.178.18.98 (talk) 18:50, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
- I was just noticing this, and thought pretty much the same. Is it truly noteworthy or significant that Former President Trump or Hillary Clinton use this company as their registered agent? Shall we also note which post offices or mail stores that politicians use for receiving letters? Perhaps also we should document what car services celebrities frequent? (<- facetious) I think this factoid likely is insufficiently important to mention.
- The larger question is whether this article should remain languishing as a stub yet longer, or should it be removed? This noteworthy aspect about the article seems to be whether registered agent services are a good thing, as opposed to focusing upon companies in the sector that are legally operating. It seems likely that this article should be fleshed-out further, but if that is not particularly happening for years at this point, it should be deleted. CapnPhantasm (talk) 20:26, 17 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]The article has been framed improperly but it has been reframed by me and it meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. Srinivas 13:52, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Home to over 6,500 companies
[edit]If you've ever seen this building, it's obvious that 6,500 companies could not physically have offices in it (and certainly 200,000 companies could not have it as anything other than an ostensibly legal mailing address). Fair enough; I get the whole tax thing, but the article ought to mention that this is the building's entire raison d'être. The way it reads now, one might think this tiny, unremarkable one-story building literally houses all these companies. 161.11.130.249 (talk) 14:11, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I kindof agree. I never made it to DE when I lived in PA for 9 years, so I was never aware of this address. So, this address is held by x amount of companies. Fine, I get that, as do you, I guess. But what physically happens here in reality? Is the building ever populated? Has it ever been? How did it get to having this particular trait of fame? Can Wilmingtonians go there for a root canal or maybe a slice of red velvet cake? This article needs expanded. If I can find anything, I will, but I'd love to see an actual Delawarean expand this article meaningfully. I'm left hanging. YellowAries2010 (talk) 21:44, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
