Bertone inspired by himself?

[edit]

In the article, I currently read: "The angular Bertone-designed hatchback was strongly inspired by the British 1977 Reliant FW11 concept and the 1979 Volvo Tundra concept car (also designed by Bertone)."

But in this page of the sporting-reliants.com website I read that the Reliant FW11 was itself based on a design by Bertone. It seems pretty logical that Bertone matured his own ideas through various models, and I propose the following rewording: "The angular Bertone-designed hatchback was preceded by other similar Bertone designs, like the British 1977 Reliant FW11 prototype and the 1979 Volvo Tundra concept car."

You are referring to Bertone as 'he'? Bertone was a family founded and owned styling house whose Marcello Gandini developed the concept cars that led to the BX, and the BX itself. Heckmotor97 (talk) 14:34, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fender extensions that added 10 cm to each side?

[edit]

As written under § "Performance models" for the "BX Sports" (... and fender extensions that added 10 cm to each side of the car in order to accommodate the larger wheels) is mistaken, I believe. Probably mixed up with mm? 176.7.141.9 (talk) 01:01, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
