"Early Life" section

[edit]

The Early Life section of this article seems to read more like a story than an actual encyclopedic article. The usage of flavorful words and the style is more like a series of events that are unfolding as you read them (like a novel), not like events that have all already taken place (which they have). The section should be redone in a more formal style, making sure that Bobby Allison is the subject of the sentences, not other people (that this article is not about). I will hope others more knowledgeable about this person or subject can help to fix this, but if not, I can do some work on it.

Another thing is the general lack of citations. Especially for an article about a living person, citations are needed for information that could be challenged. A lot of the information in this section doesn't sound unbelievable, but can very well be incorrect. We simply don't know, because of the lack of citations. Again for emphasis, as an article about a living person, citations are necessary. I don't have the luxury of time to be spending looking for sources, though, so I may leave that to another person. Bobby's team ought to have its own article. IndySteve (talk) 00:31, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
