rWas she a plastic surgeon? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.32.192.33 (talk) 20:35, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For those of us who are not Barbie cogniscenti, could someone explain what this means? Does it mean 'career' costumes the doll has been released in? DJ Clayworth (talk) 18:50, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just a little request

[edit]

Please observe that the careers are listed in alphabetical order. If you want to add some contributions to the article, please arrange them accordingly. Thank you. - Ashley

The references in the introduction are faulty. It states "According to Mattel", then refers to a website called history.com. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bibsbutz (talkcontribs) 21:45, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Really?

[edit]

Was Barbie seriously a cat burglar? By the way, is it possible Barbie ever worked at Chuck E Cheese? I was just going through some old stuff and found a Barbie Chuck E Cheese shirt. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BelieVerr (talkcontribs) 16:47, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there IS a cat burglar-themed Barbie doll. The doll was designed by Parisian shoe designer Christian Louboutin and was released in the Barbie Collector line. So please don't delete it. Here's a link to refer. - Ashley

You forgot another important limited edition...

[edit]

You also forgot Starfleet Officer. Mattel did a special set for Star Trek's 30th anniversary. Both Barbie and Ken were dressed in Starfleet uniforms, with Barbie a lieutenant and Ken a captain (though, in today's world - even back in 1996 - one would think it would be the other way around). Here's a link to an image of the package link for reference. AdmiralSirJohn (talk) 17:05, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Soc314: Wikipedia Critique an Article Assignment

[edit]

1) Very short leading introduction which indicates to me this article may have been written from several different contributions or does not have enough information on the topic. 2) Each career mentioned is not linked to a source, only to a definition A ciapa (talk) 18:38, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Soc314: Wikipedia Critique an Article Assignment

[edit]

The first paragraph is not very organized and does not have any sources to back it up. It appears that it is simply based on experience. Alexajim (talk) 00:44, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Images or more details?

[edit]

With all of the different types of barbie dolls more images should be available and displayed in the list. Details of different accessories that came with each edition should be improved as well. Giggleshack603 (talk) 00:45, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Meme maker" source?

[edit]

Made this edit the other day but it has been reverted so I thought I'd ask: is there any proof of "meme maker" Barbie? I couldn't find any proof of it and given that it was added anonymously, I assumed it was made up. 46.69.114.186 (talk) 18:21, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
