[edit]The FIFA link says Sweden is ahead of France, contradictory to this article. I don't understand why Sweden can be ahead of France. Both have the same number of points, goal difference and goals scored, and they have not met each other, but Sweden has got much more yellow cards than France (no red cards to this point), so France should be ahead of Sweden. But the FIFA link says Sweden is ahead of France, shouldn't we listen to the official source? 95.199.149.46 (talk) 22:45, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
- UEFA lists France ahead of Sweden. I have seen FIFA change the order of standings within a group before with no explanation. Since two official sources list the top two teams in different orders, the best thing to do is leave it alone rather than engage in an edit war over something which will be moot in a couple weeks. — Jkudlick • t • c • s 22:11, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

October match times not confirmed
[edit]Is someone able to remove the match times on all group pages for the October 2017 matchups? I checked the FIFA website, and they do not list match times for that month. My reasoning for removing them is per WP:CRYSTAL. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 17:31, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hello, @Jd02022092:. UEFA Reports show time for each matches. GAV80 (talk) 04:05, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Orphaned references in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – UEFA Group A
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – UEFA Group A's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
