Date inconsistency

[edit]

Question: The sources don't seem to agree with the content of the article - the first source seems to state the tournament takes place between 9 and 17 February, as opposed to being between 11 and 17 February. Typo, or faulty source? Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 14:35, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In open tennis tournaments there are qualifying events to select some low-ranked players to participate in the main draw. The qualifying takes place in 9 and 10 Feb, while the first match of the main draw will be in 11 Feb. Usually the qualifying dates are not considered to define the beginning of an ATP tournament. ATP website, for example, chooses 11 Feb. Kleiner (talk) 00:57, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
