Grandes Épreuves

This list of races is taken from Hans Etzrodt's meticulously researched web site at kolumbus.fi. But note that he says: 'In 1946 three major GP races were added to this list with the sole objective to determine "My Driver of the year" ... but these were never officially nominated Grande Épreuve events.' May I propose that the Grandes Épreuves section is removed from Wikipedia and these three races are simply listed with the other major races of the season. I've reverted the change and updated the other affected articles (1946 René le Bègue Cup, 1946 Nations Grand Prix, 1946 Turin Grand Prix, 1939 Swiss Grand Prix and 1947 Swiss Grand Prix). DH85868993 (talk) 18:03, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
