Scoop Analytics was founded in 2021 by Brad Peters, Gabe Jakobson, and Janet Gehrmann.[5][1] Brad Peters, who serves as the CEO, previously founded the business analytics firm Birst, which was acquired by Infor in 2017.[6][7][5][8] Gabe Jakobson led the visualization team, and Janet Gehrmann focused on the SMB go-to-market strategy at Birst.[9][10]

In June 2024, Scoop Analytics raised $3.5 million in seed funding led by Ridge Ventures, with participation from Engineering Capital and Industry Ventures.[6][11][9][10][12]

Scoop Analytics offers a platform that enables organizations to track, analyze, and visualize data. The software facilitates users with spreadsheet skills in extracting data from various sources, blending it, and presenting it through slide presentations.
