Nepal Premier League (NPL) (Nepali: नेपाल प्रिमियर लिग) is a proposed franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), a cricket governing body in Nepal. It is going to be the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December.[1] Tournament will be played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs.

History

CAN announces to organize an franchise based t20 league named, Nepal Premier League (NPL) in month of November to December of 2024.[2] On 2 August 2024, CAN announces request for Proposal (RFP) for Franchise Ownership.[3][4]
