Meenakshi Raveendran is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in 2018 with the Malayalam film 'Thattumpurath Achuthan' directed by Lal Jose.[1] She then acted in Malik, Hridayam and Tholvi F. C. She known for her performance in Premalu.

Early Life

Meenakshi was born on 12 July 1996 in Mararikulam, Alappuzha, Kerala, India. Her parents are Radhakrishnan and Jaya. She has a brother Balu Raveendran. She started her professional career as an Air Hostess at SpiceJet airlines and later moved to the film industry.

Career

Her acting debut was a small role in the film 'Thattum Purath Achuthan'. Before her acting debut she appeared in a reality show called 'Nayika Nayakan' which was broadcast on Mazhavil Manorama.[2][3] She got Best comedian acress award in this show.[4] Meenakshi Raveendran hosted the third and fourth seasons of 'Udan Panam' in Mazhavil Manorama with Dain Davis.[5][6][7] She played a cameo role in popular sitcom Thatteem Mutteem in Mazhavil Manorama.[8] Her role in 'Premalu,' directed by Gireesh A.D., became a commercial success.[9]
