History and profile
[edit]Krydseren was established in 1849 by Ditmar Meidell,[1][2] and published by Christian Schibsted.[3] It is regarded as the first satirical magazine in Norway.[4] The magazine was first published monthly, and then, began to be published weekly.[5]
Krydseren became defunct in 1855, when it was turned into the newspaper Aftenbladet.[1][5]
