Bülent Kent, (born February 8, 1972 Afyonkarahisar), Turkish jurist, rector of Aydın Adnan Menderes University.[1]
Life and Education
[edit]Born in 1972 in Dinar district of Afyonkarahisar, Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent completed his primary and secondary education in Sultanhisar district of Aydın province.
He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1996. After obtaining his master's degree at University of Potsdam Faculty of Law in Germany in 2001, he received his doctorate in law from Freie Universität in Berlin in 2005.[2]
From 2005 to 2011, he was a faculty member in the Department of Administrative Law at Başkent University's Faculty of Law. Between 2011 and 2013, he continued his work in the same department at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University's Faculty of Law. In 2015, he joined Sebahattin Zaim University, where he served until 2018.
In 2018, he was appointed as a professor of administrative law and administrative trial law at the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences University of Ankara.[3]
In 2023, Bülent Kent was elected to the executive board of educational scholarships and activity support by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.[4]
