[edit]Avior Produits Intégrés Inc. was founded in 2002 through a management buyout led by Stephen Kearns. The company is a partnership with its employees, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ (Quebec), and Hay Island (Connecticut). Initially a Tier IV supplier of sheet metal details,the company has expanded its operations through acquisitions and investments in technology, which have been documented in industry reports.[2] Avior's initial customer base included Bell Helicopter (now Bell Flight) and Bombardier, and it has since grown to include aircraft manufacturers like Airbus, Boeing, DeHavilland, Northrop Grumman, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and Spirit AeroSystems.[3]

- Testing Lab: Avior has an advanced aerospace testing lab[15] whose ultrasonic inspection (UT) capabilities and services support its composite fabrication production and those of its customers. The laboratory has the expertise to perform a wide range of materials testing, destructive testing and non-destructive testing (NDT). As proof of this expertise, Avior is Nadcap accredited for its non-destructive testing.
